Responsibilities: Designed & developed front- and back-end products powering Prismatext's proprietary 'blended language' software. In addition to acting as product designer for the mobile application, my responsibilities also included crafting the strategic vision of the company and its products, quality assurance, gathering requirements, writing specifications, creating wireframes & prototypes, conducting user testing & research, assembling high-fidelity mockups, and building & deploying a custom storefront—all while constantly iterating on the ever-changing world of machine learning and AI.
Background: Prior to the launch of the company, I spent 2 years developing the software that become the foundation of Prismatext and its mission: to bring blended-language books to mass market. During this time, I dove headfirst into the world of natural language processing and machine learning, utilizing LLMs (large language models) to create an entirely new kind of tool for learning foreign languages.
